Survivors often arrive at The Family Place with little more than the clothes on their backs. At our Resale Shop, they can select clothing, furniture and household essentials free of charge—empowering them to rebuild their lives with dignity.
Open to the public, the shop also offers a wide selection of gently used and new items at affordable prices. Every purchase supports our programs for survivors of family violence, making it a place to shop with purpose.
We gladly accept donations of clothing, accessories, home goods and furniture. Your generous contributions help stock the store for survivors and shoppers alike—turning everyday items into meaningful support.

Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Donation Drop-Off Hours
Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Donation Guidelines
We gladly accept donations of new or gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods. All donations must be packed in closed-lid containers or sealed garbage bags.
Items We Cannot Accept:
- Wedding dresses
- Mattresses or box springs
- Exercise equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes)
- Baby cribs or swings
- Chandeliers or light fixtures
- Portable toilets (children’s or adult)
- Car seats or booster seats
- Large desks, armoires or entertainment centers
- Christmas trees
- Tube-style televisions
- Used bed pillows
- Large appliances
- Damaged furniture
- Sleeper sofa
